Studio 30 - THERE’S NOBODY HERE

13 November, 2012 to 16 December, 2012

THERE’S  NOBODY  HERE

The artists of the project, Lily Balasanova and Sergei Kolevatykh, believe that we are now living in a new historical reality which contains at least one new dimension - information. This transformation has been foreseen by the thinkers of the 20th century, yet no one anticipated its galloping pace and ubiquitous impact on the way we perceive and understand the world. As a result, various ideological and philosophical crises have entered the scene, and the only way to resolve them is to fully comprehend this process of transformation. This is just what Studio 30 has been attempting to accomplish with the series of recent project collectively titled “Break of Dimensions”, each time capturing the images and signifies or time seeping through the multi-frequency noise.
The same agenda exists for the current project - “THERE’S  NOBODY  HERE”

THERE’S  NOBODY  HERE

An inviting to a an exhibition on a cold November evening with such a name isn’t a joke.
Artists are inviting you to adjust your perspective and look at the surrounding space anew. Maybe beyond the facade of the everyday, it will be possible to discover something that is not yet totally understood by the participants of the process but is already prevalent here and now.

There’s Nobody Here
- A question? a suggestion? an affirmative? There is no punctuation. It can be added with the development of the plot.

There’s Nobody Here
- We say as we grope the darkness, trying to get a feel for an unfamiliar space.

There’s Nobody Here
- We calm our nerves, suspecting a trap.

There’s Nobody Here
Or is there? We have already made it.
We have entered this territory.
