The artist is a professional observer.
No matter how he is involved in an action, he records impulses earlier than others, which originate from those points in space where something is barely beginning to change. The time passes, and it becomes clear that this change has occurred not only in the observed object, but also in our own attitude.
Sometimes it's a bit interesting to look back and play events over again in spectator mode.
That is what artists and authors of the project, Lily Balasanova and Sergei Kolevatykh, are suggesting to make, tracing the history of their observations, recorded in different time periods, the meaning of which is revealed in an intriguing little internal name of the project: "Holes in space, hidden mechanisms and virtual phantoms”.
This is what the trained eye of a painter grabs, being accustomed not to slide on the surfaces and membranes of appearances, but clinging for the knots and roughness in the fabric of space and look into holes that detect other dimensions and hidden nature.
